Love Story

Jane and Jeff owe their first meeting to Jane's brother. They were introduced back in 2007, when Jane--who was based abroad and worked as a flight attendant--visited the Philippines. She and Jeff clicked right away, and soon had a long-distance relationship. After a year, Jane then decided to move back to the Philippines, which made her relationship with Jeff stronger. "Our relationship was strengthened by regular Bible studies and Sunday church services we attended," she adds.

With their bond, it was unsurprising when Jeff popped the question to Jane. While vacationing in Boracay, the couple rode a private boat ride as the sun was about to go down. With the perfect sunset right before their eyes, Jeff took that as the cue to take out an engagement ring and to ask for Jane's hand in marriage. "We have witnessed a lot of sunsets together, and it's fitting to mark this milestone with another one," shares Jane.

Wedding Preparations

Jane and Jeff kept things simple and classic for their July union. With a pink and silver color motif, the couple's affair exhibited a mix of elegance and whimsy. "Our suppliers gave us the best of all worlds. We definitely went for elegance. We wanted to be able to keep the wedding very personal even though we invited a lot of guests," shares the bride.

The couple's wedding exuded a light and dreamy ambiance. Come the reception, guests enjoyed remarkable performances, which included song numbers from Jeff and Arnee Hidalgo, Erik Santos, and a special number from harpist Noelle Cassandra.

Jane and Jeff learned several things in planning their own wedding. The bride encourages planning couples to do everything in advance and avoid putting off things at the last minute in order to avoid stress. "During the wedding, let go and let God, [so that you and your groom] will have a very memorable [wedding] filled with love," she adds.
