Jessa and Vince paid homage to yesteryear by doing a shoot inspired by the 70s, 80s, and 90s. "People will always remember the style of these generations," shares the bride.

To strengthen the concept they had in mind, the couple consulted their suppliers from Shutterfairy Photography. "It took [me and my then-fiancé] one full day to really come up with what we wanted so we could submit a mood board to our stylist. Then our stylist, who became our friend, Angel, patiently looked at what we presented and did his magic by putting them all together," narrates Jessa.

Doing their themed shoot required props and costumes, and the team exercised creativity in nailing down their chosen looks. "You should be very patient in looking for materials. Be very imaginative and innovative so you can come up with ideas that won't need you to spend a lot on outfits and props," says Jessa. The shoot was also successful because of their suppliers. She adds, "Build a good relationship with your photographer, stylist and make up artist. That way the shoot would be fun."
