Love StoryFe and Carlo met at an auditing firm. "It was my first job, and he was already a one year associate then. We were under the same group and market circle. Sparks didn't fly when we first met," shares the bride.
The two's platonic relationship eventually changed. Says Fe, "Months passed, and I noticed him getting to know my friends. He would often join us during our group gimmicks, which might have been the time when he asked for my number from my friends."
After going out on several dates, Fe and Carlo discovered that they actually had a lot of things in common. And after two months, they officially became a couple.
To make sure that all their plans are aligned and executed accordingly, Fe and Carlo took charge of their big day. The two researched for pegs online, and coordinated with their suppliers regarding their chosen wedding theme.
According to Fe, they were very hands-on on their wedding. She shares, "Although we only had a few DIY projects, we were very particular with how we wanted our reception to look like, so we told our suppliers how every detail should come out. One tip we can share to other marrying couples is to stick with the classics. You can never go wrong with this theme since it's something anyone at any age can appreciate." To complement their classic wedding details, the couple picked old rose and champagne as their motif.
While the couple wanted the details to be perfect, they also made sure to let their hair down at the celebration. ""It's very important to remember to enjoy and have fun. The weeks leading to the event can be really stressful and you might get into fights every now and then, but do not forget that a wedding is a joyous occasion. Listen to each other and respect each other's opinions," says the bride.
