Love Story

In the words of Arlene, their love story is one that was built from second chances.

They were both coming out of annulments and were not looking for a relationship when they met. She narrates, "We met while I was shooting a prenup. The bride was my friend and the groom was his. I knew who he was way back in college, but our paths just crossed while I was doing something I'm truly passionate about--capturing love."

Even before their special day, Arlene, Garry, and their kids already felt like a family. The bride adds, "Everything fell into place naturally. Our story involved our kids, and we even had one of our own. Everything was perfect ever since, and our wedding felt like a reset for both of us."

Wedding Preparations

The couple wanted a wedding that mixed both of their personalities. Thus, they both managed to have a unique one. For their wedding ceremony, the couple created DIY missalettes with their monogram on it and ribbon wands for their chapel exit.

Since the groom is a basketball fanatic, they had a basketball themed reception. The couple together with their entourage had a basketball championship entrance. The whole entourage fully participated in this event. Even the bridesmaids acted like cheerleaders while the groomsmen pretended to be basketball players.

The celebration continued as the couple did a surprise special number on the song “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok ko”. The meaningful promise behind it is what the couple also wants to keep even in the future.

Cj and Miel’s wedding day proves that despite their differences, they could still have a beautiful and life-changing celebration. “There will always be clashes during wedding planning. During these moments, just discuss it calmly and take a few days off. This will give you a new perspective.” Despite their disagreements during their wedding preparations, Cj and Miel’s love was love for each other over came it all.
