In case you missed it, actress Ara Mina just officially tied the knot with her gallant groom Dave Almarinez! With two gorgeous looks for the bride and two customized suits for the groom, the couple certainly didn’t shy away from their royal-inspired wedding theme.
The lavish floral wedding, styled by Gideon Hermosa, was celebrated only with a handful of guests at Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges on Wednesday, June 30. What made this ceremony felt like a true fairytale was Ara’s elaborate wedding gown: a fully crystallized ball gown with an embellished white mesh long sleeves and neck piece.
Inspired by the beautiful art style of baroque rococo, Filipino fashion designer Leo Almodal also made sure to accentuate her 23-inch waist with a cinched corset bodice. "It was her idea and her dream and my job is to bring her vision to life! Like a fairy godfather listening to a princess who is becoming a queen in her own right," Leo shares in one of his posts. He's right though, she absolutely looked like a royal queen as she walked down the aisle.
The bride also carried a classic bouquet of white Baby’s Breath flowers which complemented her newly minted husband's navy blue three-piece suit by renowned fashion designer Francis Libiran.
Tying her regal bridal look altogether, Ara opted for a peachy nude makeup look by Albert Kurniawan and pulled off a sleek middle part low bun with her veil attached to a crown, seamlessly blending along the gown’s long train.
By the time the reception night came, Ara transitioned into yet another elegant look. Contrasting her Swarovski wedding gown, this modern yet dainty after party evening dress was simply beautiful on its own. We’re swooning over its intricate pattern design that covers from its sweetheart neckline until the hem of its train, effortlessly flaunting the actress’ gorgeous curves. Fun fact: Both of the couple’s matching white looks were also designed by Francis Libiran, and they look so lovely together!
