Aside from capturing cute moments of your guests in bunny ears and all sorts of funky props, a photo booth at your wedding can serve more purposes than you think. For starters, it can help keep your guests entertained during cocktails, and certain types of prints can even double as your giveaway (think magnets and flipbooks!).

Here are a few more details to help you out with booking your photo booth supplier:

For certain set ups, discuss if you'll need the company to provide a photographer.

Not all weddings are filled with Instagram husbands. An "Instagram photographer" for instance, can be an add-on for P2,000 if you avail of Pose and Print's Hashtag Project Package.

If you want to make sure that you get quality photos from the photo booth, it wouldn't hurt to ask for a reco from your supplier, that way, it's someone they've already had good working relations with in the past.

Confirm the headcount of the team.

Weddings are big events, so even if you're not exactly VIP, it's still best to keep a headcount not just of your guests, but of your suppliers as well. Aside from security issues, you'll also need to provide their meals, as well as brief them with clear instructions on what to expect on the day.

It's advisable to tip the crew at the end of the day, too! Make sure to assign this task to someone on your entourage though, since you'll probably be spending more time on camera than off on your big day.

Allot enough time for ingress and egress.

Some photobooths require a set up time of about four hours, so make sure the wedding coordinator as well as the venue know what time the team will arrive, and where exactly they should set up.

For big venues, use a floor plan to map out the presidential table, the guest table arrangements, wedding cake, stage, and photo booth area.

FN TIP: Make sure to consider that there will probably be a line of big groups at a time, so find an area that won't block the way for other guests.

You should also be sure to secure gate passes and work permits if necessary. The bigger your photo booth set up, the more complicated it can get. When in doubt, it's always best to ask your venue first!

Confirm the payment details.

Most companies require a downpayment to secure your wedding date. Make sure to have everything in writing, and it wouldn't hurt to keep a paper trail of your emails and text messages just in case something happens on the day itself. That said, it's also your responsibility to pay your bill on time, provide meals for the staff, and to make sure to pay for any extensions and additional costs.

If planning a destination wedding, ask about out of town fees as well, but don't be afraid to look for local suppliers as well as that could truly lower your expenses.
