For a bride based abroad, the task of finding the perfect wedding gown can be challenging because of the distance and time difference between you and your bridal gown supplier. However, with exceptional gown designer Zandra Lim, finding your perfect ensemble is an attainable step-by-step process.
Below, she shares answers to the questions of a typical overseas bride who may be planning to get married here or abroad.
What is the best way to communicate with my gown designer?
"Email will be the best form of communication. This way, all discussions are documented," Zandra says. However, Zandra can also call you through Viber or Facebook for follow ups and important discussions about the gown.
What can I expect upon booking?
To provide excellent services for your big day, Zandra will send you a contract and a timeline of your fitting and your gown's production. "The timeline is very necessary because it will include the date in which everything should be finalized before production," Zandra says.
Will you send sketches for my gown?
Zandra suggests you to email her pegs so she can understand your style and personality. Afterwards, Zandra will work on three sketch designs for you to choose from. "I want the best for my clients, that is why if there will be modifications, we can alter it right away to enhance your dream wedding gown," Zandra shares.
How long does it take to create a gown?
According to Zandra, it takes six to eight months to create a wonderful wedding gown that is tailored to your taste. It takes that much time and effort because every detail is created perfectly to suit you, and that is why it is important to have a head start in planning for your dream wedding gown. Moreover, Zandra works on a limited number of orders per month so she can deliver a timeless ensemble for your wedding day.
I'm getting married abroad, how will I facilitate my fittings?
Zandra will readily send you a draft ensemble for fitting. If the draft needs adjustments, she will guide you on how to properly mark the areas for adjustments, and then you will have to send the draft ensemble back to her.
What are the shipping arrangements if I get married abroad?
"I can send the gown through a courier, depending on your location," Zandra says. However, since Zandra wants you to make your once-in-a-lifetime event memorable, she can also be the one to dress you up on your wedding day if she's available. "Since I want to give full dedication to my clients, I can personally deliver the bridal gown to your destination, to preserve the delicate pieces of the gown," Zandra shares.
With Zandra's dedication to her clients, she will make sure that your wedding gown would embody your own self. "I am very flexible with overseas brides. I give my 100% full attention to them for a smooth and easy transaction, so that their wedding gown would be unforgettable," Zandra says.
