Today marks the first day of the Ber months, and that also means the start of the wedding season as lots of Pinoys prefer to get married in the cooler months. From our conversations with various wedding suppliers, we also know that they'll be busier than usual.

No doubt, local wedding suppliers are a hardworking bunch, and they make sure that they give their clients the best for their dream wedding. These suppliers also rarely take a breather, which is why we decided to invite our partner suppliers to a relaxing night in celebration of BridalBook's fourth anniversary.

Our party, which was held at the newly renovated Dusit Thani Manila ballroom, was a departure from our previous affairs. It was a laid-back celebration, and guests enjoyed pampering services: manicures from Bliss Beauty Lounge and Lulu Nails and Dry Bar, and massages from Deverana Spa.

Moss Manila dressed up the ballroom with chic sofas and beds, while Royal Flower Shoppe's chic floral arrangements added warmth to the space. Also, Tenstringedlyre played soothing music that set a relaxed atmosphere.

This year, we decided to have a laid-back celebration inspired by slumber parties. We invited our partner suppliers to enjoy manicures and massages!

What would a slumber party be without food? The buffet table was laden with treats that satiated the sweet tooth. A stunning cake from Goldilocks, cupcakes from Hearts and Bells, a dessert buffet from Mamoo's, doughnuts from Krispy Kreme all complemented the slumber party theme. Swiss Miss even set up a hot chocolate booth!

Sweet treats and hot drinks served as the perfect nice cap to our party.

Granted, the event was like one big slumber party, but the program was nothing short of lively with RJ Ledesma as the host. Throughout the night, RJ raffled off prizes from EDSA Shangri-La, Crowne Plaza, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay, and The Bellevue Resort. Guests also participated in parlor games, such as a slumber party version of the newspaper dance. To entertain guests as they arrived, other game booths were set up at the lobby.

WeCelebrate captured the night's festivities in photos. Guests also took their own pictures, which were displayed on Frame Up Display Rental's screens. Moreover, a unique photo booth by Nice Print Photography allowed guests to pose on a comfy bed.

We prepared games as well. The suppliers were game to participate, and we had such fun with them!

We wish the wedding suppliers luck this wedding season. We know they're a resilient lot, and they'll surely pull off all sorts of amazing things in the coming months. With such talented suppliers, couples can look forward to achieving their dream wedding.
