Last September 22, I was lucky enough to attend Blush, a bridal and debutant fashion show held at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Settled atop Cebu's Nivel Hills, the venue provided a sweeping view of the city known as the Queen of the South, and it aptly set the stage for this highpoint in the local fashion scene.

Now if you're anything like me, then you're the type who doesn't just go by sight, but also by feel. Of course it all starts with how a dress looks--but just as important are the emotions it stirs, and the ideas it evokes. I was excited to see what the designers had to offer, and looked forward to seeing which gowns would trigger my imagination. Here are some the evening's highlights.
