Love Story
Christine and Daniel were officemates in a BPO company, and they had the same set of friends from the workplace. One time, the two and their workmates decided to stage a videoke session at Red Box.
During his turn, Daniel sang Josh Groban's You're Still You. Little did Christine know that Daniel had a wonderful voice--and she then fell in love with him. (The fact that Christine liked Daniel first is a running joke between the couple.)
Christine and Daniel's romance blossomed, and the scenic Baguio City witnessed their love story unfold. The two became an official couple--and later on an engaged couple--in the City of Pines. Later on, Baguio also became the couple's inspiration for their wedding.

Wedding Preparations
Christine and Daniel wanted a simple affair that reflected their personalities. They decided against going a very specific theme, but they incorporated details that referenced to their love story.
Because Christine and Daniel became a couple and got engaged in Baguio, they figured that incorporating pine cones in their décor would be an apt yet subtle way to make the wedding their own. Pine cones decorated the couple's buttercream wedding cakes, and the reception tables also bore tall vases containing the unusual fruit. Perhaps most notable of the couple's wedding details was their customized monograms, which also featured a drawing of a pine cone.
In keeping with their goal to make their celebration truly theirs, Christine and Daniel also took on a number of DIY projects. Moreover, the couple was very wise with their budget--they determined which areas they would save and splurge on so they could budget their finances properly. Their labors of love and their prudence with the budget proved that a wedding doesn't have to be an extravagant affair for it to be memorable.
