Atty. Rita Linda V. Jimeno

Rita Linda V. Jimeno is a lawyer, a multi-media practitioner, and an academician.

Having taken up Broadcasting and Journalism in UP before taking up law in the same university, she has managed to practice both professions at the same time.

Atty. Jimeno is a litigation lawyer, a professor of law at the San Beda School of Law and the CEU School of Law and is also currently the Associate Dean of the CEU Law.

She is an author in the Benchbook for Trial Courts and is a lecturer in Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Seminars for lawyers.

She has been writing a column for Manila Standard Today since 2005;  for Good Housekeeping Magazine, a Summit Media publication, since 2009 up to the present;  and for the People’s Journal from 1998 to 2003.

She also used to host two television shows entitled Saklolo Abogado and Mom Ko ‘To, aired on IBC 13 and ABC 5, respectively.

Atty. Jimeno hosted a public service radio show also entitled Saklolo Abogado from 1996 to 2004, aired on Radio Veritas and DZXL, Radio Mindanao network.

She is an advocate of women’s rights, the environment and constitutional reforms.
