"Where Is Mommy?" 4 Tips to Help Your Kids Cope When You Leave to Work Overseas

Being an OFW mom doesn't have to mean being an absentee parent, but your kids may not always understand this. Help them out with some tips from FN. By Vange Alianan
It is difficult to leave loved ones for an extended period of time, even if it's for work. And it's even worse if you're a parent. Children change so quickly, and being away for even six months makes a lot of difference. While your husband may be more accepting of this situation, your children do not always have the understanding that adults possess, so the thought of you leaving may be difficult for them to understand.

If you're worried about how you can help your children ease into this situation, here are tips you can use to reassure them.

    my mother left when i am in high school and my sister is in elementary so it is not that hard for us to grasp the situation and she always call us to check things. i agree that being truthful and explaining things is the best way to let the children you are leaving to cope.
