Now that we're at the tail end of the holidays, it's time to slowly return to reality and start minding our finances in preparation for the new year. And so, here's reality check number one: did you manage to save part of your 13th month pay and Christmas bonuses, if you had any?
While December bonuses are usually spent on holiday expenses, some people allocate it for other expenses like health insurance, credit card balances, or getaways. And yet, bonuses can also help boost your savings if you choose to keep at least a portion of it.
