In an increasingly competitive marketplace, good old fashioned honesty, a dash of innovation, and a strong work ethic are no longer enough to ensure success. It’s becoming increasingly important to market yourself to employers and clients and to uphold your professional image—often even outside the office.

While some consult the pros for image management, this isn’t something everyone can afford, so we asked two image consultants for a few tips. From the interview process all the way to the executive boardroom, these dos and don’ts when it comes to your appearance, behavior, and communication in the workplace will help you keep your professional image on the up and up.

The article was a great read and gave me a different viewpoint in how to dress well. I like how they used different people to give helpful inputs to address the common issues of many. Carolina D. Tan taught me how to dress according to my body type and that really opened my eyes. Thanks for the great read!
