For your to-do lists

Trello
How it works:
The page is full of boards you or your co-workers can categorize. Make task cards to be posted on the boards, and tag people to delegate tasks, add deadlines (Trello reminds you of approaching deadlines via e-mail), and check off finished assignments.

Available on iPhone, iPad, Android, and web browsers

MeisterTask
How it works:
Like Trello, MeisterTask uses boards, cards, and lists. Its special features are the pre-set checklists for routine tasks, and the chat function for instant messaging.

Available on iPhone, iPad, and web browsers

For note-taking

Evernote
How it works:
Evernote lets you take as many notes as you want. It groups your notes so you can easily access them. You can also share and discuss them in real time with your co-workers without switching to other apps.

Available on iPhone, iPad, and web browser

Tinynote
How it works:
The notes you add will be displayed through an easy-to-read timeline. You can organize and find your notes through hashtags, which you can time ANYWHERE in the note you're making. Tinynote also adds the time and date to your notes, and keeps track of the edits you make.

Available soon on Android and web browsers

Gingko
How it works: Gingko organizes your thoughts with cards that connect to each other vertically and horizontally. Cards to the right are branches of the cards on their left. Cards on the same vertical line are in the same hierarchy. It's the solution to long outlines with many bullet points. Gingko also lets you export your document in several formats like HTML and Word.

For organizing your appointments

Monday
How it works: Monday is an online calendar app that connects to your Google Calendar and Facebook accounts to sync your meetings, events, and birthdays. Each task has a note section where you can put important numbers, addresses, and links. Any task you weren't able to do on the scheduled date will automatically be moved to the following day, so you don't have to worry about changing deadlines.

Available on Android, and web browsers

Sunrise
How it works:
Sunrise syncs your calendar to many calendars and reminders (including Google Calendar, Facebook, and Evernote), and you can see all the schedules in one view. It also lets you keep track of the airtime of your favorite sports events and TV programs by syncing the schedules of their respective networks to your calendar.

Pocket
How it works:
Pocket saves your links to articles, photos, music, and videos. You can save directly from your browser and apps like Twitter, and add tags to the links to organize them. You can open them whenever you want, even when you're offline.
