After health officials warned the public not to eat fish from Romblon that may be feeding off the pesticide from the capsized M/V Princess of the Stars last week, fish sales expectedly went down even as vendors lowered their prices. July 3, however, saw the Department of Health (DOH) announcing that there's no need to fear fish in general as long as it wasn't caught where the ban has been imposed.

As the area around the sunken ferry is still quarantined to prevent transport of fish to other areas, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has cleared that fish from Palawan that are hauled to Metro Manila is safe to eat.
It's only lately that I've started taking into consideration the supposed slimming effects of bottled teas and juices seriously.
