Hot Spot: Suriya Spa

Apr 4, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

suriya_spa.jpgThe Suriya Spa is already quite known for the blend of Asian influences that they employ in their services. Most of their branches are located near gyms or inside hotels, but their facilities just got better when they opened the Suriya Spa at the Frontera Verde Complex in Ortigas only this February.

Unlike the other branches, the Suriya Spa in Frontera Verde has its own building, which means it has bigger facilities for your spa needs. The lobby and garden are spacious, so you can already start chilling as you wait for your treatment (they require customers to come in at least 20 minutes before their appointments).

The best thing about the Frontera branch is that their rooms are fully equipped for every treatment you might need. Each room comes with its own jacuzzi, changing rooms, vanity amenities, massage tables, and more. No more shuttling from one room to another for that other treatment! It's that convenient, plus, it saves you more time to relax.

They offer nine types of massages, all ranging from P1,100 to P1,300 for a 60-minute appointment, and P1,500 to P1,900 for 90-minute massages. We recommend the Ayurveda Massage therapy which focuses on the subtle points that respond to gentle physical manipulation, and the Deep Tissue "Sports" Massage if you prefer a stronger type of massage.

Suriya also offers hands and feet treatments, traditional body treatments, facial treatments, hair spa, wax offs, and Diamond Peel. You can also inquire at the office about their special packages.

The Suriya Spa is open Mondays to Thursdays from 11 am to 12 mn and last treatment service is 10:30 pm. Fridays to Sundays from 10 am to 1 am and last treatment service is 11:30 pm.

For more information and reservation, contact the Suriya Spa at Frontera Verde at 633-2817. You can also check out their website
