You may be thinking of reducing your Valentine's Day budget because of the economic recession, but somehow, you feel the occasion still calls for a special treat for you and your man.
In the US, the National Retail Federation foresees Valentine expenses to go down an average of $102.50 from last year's $122.98. Surveys also showed that couples are more likely to buy small tokens of affection than extravagant items.

Thanks to sandwiched holidays this month, we're in for longer non-working days than usual. Most of you probably even opted to start your break as early as today, while some may have to wait for the 24th before calling it a year.
Since this week-long vacation (or even longer for some) is quite rare, why not take advantage of the opportunity to go on that much-deserved beach break or spend more time with the family at home—without even the slightest peek into your laptop?
