kdrama_heroine_extra.jpgKorean dramas have been sweeping the nation for years, and Hallyu fever continues to reign on Philippine TV in 2011. With picturesque settings, dramatic plot twists, and gorgeous lead stars working in their favor, K-dramas have successfully established themselves as a local TV staple.

A good K-drama won't be complete without a lovable heroine, and we've seen our share of awesome females over the years. If you were to star in your own Koreanovela, which of these bidas would you be? Take our quiz to find out if you're most like Go Mi Nyeo (You're Beautiful), Gil Ra Im (Secret Garden), Go Hye Mi (Dream High), or Gumiho (My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho).

1 .) Your cellphone alarm failed to work this morning, and you're going to be late for work. What do you do?
  1. You go about your morning routine the usual way. You're already late, so you don't see the point in getting stressed about it.
  2. You panic and think about the hell you'll get at work, but after you calm down, you work on getting out of your house as soon as you can.
  3. You shower and dress up in record time. You're sure you can still make it if you hurry.
  4. Good thing you have a second alarm clock set up, and it woke you up. No danger of being late here.
2 .) Someone left an unlabeled parcel at your doorstep. What do you do with it?
  1. Open it. You'll only know what to do next after you see what's in it, of course.
  2. Ask your next-door neighbors if the parcel is theirs. If so, you'll return it to them.
  3. Call the post office to ask if they'd had the parcel delivered to your place. You just want to make sure it's yours before you open it.
  4. Have it thrown away. You don't know what's in the parcel, and, frankly, you don't think it's safe to find out.
3 .) It's the middle of the night and you've just had a bad day at work, when a friend calls you and asks if you could pick her up from a bar. How do you react?
  1. You suggest that the two of you go bar-hopping. You're in need of a little pick-me-up, and you're sure you and your friend will have fun together.
  2. You fetch her and take her back with you to your place. You spend the rest of the night listening to her talk about her problems and giving her advice.
  3. You're out the door in 15 minutes. You don't want her wandering around or driving when she's had a bit to drink.
  4. You ask her if she's with common friends, and if she is, you talk to them and make sure they take her home safely.
4 .) Which of these dreams appeal to you the most?
  1. To travel the world and experience as much as you can of other cultures
  2. To live simply and happily surrounded by your loved ones
  3. To build your own family and give them a good life
  4. To become a renowned and successful career woman
5 .) There's a new guy at work, and you think he's cute. What do you do to attract his attention?
  1. You flash him a mischievous smile, throw in a few light jokes, and that's it--he's hooked.
  2. You drop your folder of paperwork accidentally (on purpose), and you smile shyly when he picks it up and returns it to you.
  3. You offer to give him a tour of the office, and you naturally become friends after that.
  4. You give him a glimpse of your smile but ignore him for the most part. The less you interact with him, the more he'll find you intriguing.
6 .) What's your K-drama pet peeve?
  1. When the main guy misses catching the girl by a few seconds, whether it's at the airport or the bus stop. You think no opportunity should be wasted.
  2. When the lead girl gets a terminal disease. Why can't the heroine have her happy ending?
  3. The second lead never gets the girl--even though he's the one who made the most effort to get her.
  4. The heroines are often damsels in distress when you know women can fend for themselves, thank you very much.
7 .) Your life's kontrabida just tried to sabotage you at work--again. How do you deal?
  1. You let the incident go. What's one mishap when you know you've got the rest of your life to live?
  2. You're convinced that she didn't mean it, but you have a good cry to get the negative feelings out of your system anyway.
  3. You keep your chin up and resolve to try even harder at work, so she won't have room to hurt you.
  4. You don't say a word, but she'd better watch her back because you're not going to let her off easy.
8 .) You slip and fall at the company party. How do you cope?
  1. You laugh it off. Hey, at least you made the party more interesting.
  2. You stand up and make your exit as discreetly as possible.
  3. You're embarrassed, but you smile gamely and make the most out of the situation.
  4. You get up as if nothing happened and talk to the nearest person you know.
9 .) Which of these Korean dramas interests you the most?
  1. My Girl. It's a fun drama, and it's hard not to fall in love with heroine Yoo Rin's bubbly and adventurous personality.
  2. Mary Stayed Out All Night. You appreciate Mary's pure nature and her willingness to help others out despite having her own problems.
  3. Coffee Prince. You love how Eun Chan always strives to achieve her goals no matter what hardship comes her way.
  4. Cinderella's Sister. You can relate to strong heroine Eunjo's yearning for success. It's just that everyone always misunderstands her motives.
10 .) What's your life motto?
  1. Seize the day.
  2. Home is where the heart is.
  3. Never give up.
  4. Go for the gold.
