Superman wouldn’t be complete without Lois Lane, and we couldn't imagine Batman without chasing Catwoman around the rooftops of Gotham from time to time.

Comic book pairings give an interesting spin to the superhero myth. Some couples may have reverse gender roles like the alpha female Big Barda and the escape artist Mister Miracle, or they may surpass lifespans like the always-reincarnating Hawk Man and Hawk Girl. Comic book couples are defined by their significant others without one ever being greater than other. Some of them, for better or worse, are truly meant to be!
