What's your Halloween tradition?

How do you celebrate the spookiest day of the year? FN wants to know! By Marianne Salazar

For the ancient Celts, Halloween marks the night when the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead are blurred, allowing the spirits of the deceased to mingle on earth. The townsfolk would wear costumes and masks to mimic the evil spirits, and they would place food and drinks outside their homes so they would be left in peace.

Through the years, Halloween slowly evolved from a pagan tradition into a night of mischief and merriment. Children would go trick-or-treating, while the older ones would dress up and party the night away in their wacky costumes. Still, there are also others who prefer to stay true to the night’s spooky origins by visiting haunted places, hunting for ghosts, or wandering in cemeteries. Whichever way you decide to celebrate the scariest evening of the year, we’d love for you to tell us all about it!

My daughter will be turning 3 years old on Feb next year and this will be her 3rd year attending Trick or Treat. :) she was a baby pixie when she was 8 months old, a nurse when she was 1 year old, and this year, she'll be a goddess. :)
