What's your favorite summer memory?

FN wants to know about your unforgettable summer moments. By Belle Yambao

Summer is something a lot of people look forward to every year. For students, it's a respite from busy school days and an opportunity to relax. For workers, it's a time to briefly forget about the office and have some fun in the sun at the beach. For families, it's a great chance to catch up and spend time with the kids.

What's your fondest memory of summer, FNites? Perhaps it's a beach trip you had with your barkada when you were a teen or the thought of the sandcastles you made with your younger siblings when you went to the seaside with your family at age 10.

Maybe it's a memory from when you traveled to the other side of the world to experience different weather or that time you slept on hammocks in your backyard because it was too hot inside the house. It can even be the memory of your last summer fling--you wish it didn't have to end--or the pleasant memories you made with your hubby when you had your honeymoon at a local resort.

No matter what summer memories you find most unforgettable, we'd love it if you told us all about them!

One of best summer memories was when me and a bunch of friends went on a double-beach trip! 1st we went to this totally isolated, (white sand) beach in Tingloy, Batangas. To get there, we had to ride a boat to the island, climbed up and down a mountain and crossed a rice field towards the beach. We camped inside a cave, went swimming and slept on the sand under a full moon, soothing waves and a bonfire to keep us warm. The following day, we got on a boat to Puerto Galera and stayed there overnight! Some of my friends that time have never been to Puerto Galera so it was extra exciting for them. :)

Best summer memory/ies for me was when I would spend almost all my summer vacations in our province Marinduque. My two cousins and I would do our daily afternoon walks around our town then sit in front of our house's fence and chat with our best guy friends till late evening. Biking in the early morning to the sea, with friends, is something that I always look back to until now. If only I could turn back time. =/

One of the best summers was spent with my bestfriend when I went back in the Philippines for a week-long vacation. I only spent 3 days in Manila so my bestfriend and I was able to spend 3 days in Bohol and one whole day in Cebu. There are so many places to explore in our country and I'm just so glad I spent it wisely. All the best beaches are here and we always discover some place new :)
