What's next in Vince's Life?

Apr 24, 2009 by FN's Cheekie Albay

vince__s_life2_main.jpgVince Teves made girls across the country swoon when he gave us a glimpse of the ups and downs of his love (and) life in Seventeen Magazine, which was later turned into a book simply called Vince’s Life.

He knew exactly how it felt to be young and in love, and we found ourselves good-naturedly laughing along with him or silently weeping in shared sadness. Vince proved to the ladies that dudes do fall in love—and they fall hard, their inability to spill their feelings notwithstanding.

Fans mourned with Vince as his first novel ended with his first love Andrea leaving for the US. But Vince has since moved on, as you probably learned in the much-awaited sequel Vince’s Life: The Next Chapter—Getting Over Andrea. There, he speaks of how he landed a job at a top advertising agency where he meets the fun and vibrant Cat, and everything is peachy again…or is it?

In a chat with FemaleNetwork, Vince gives us the lowdown on life after Andrea. After all these years, how does he feel about her? Is he over her? And most importantly, how does Cat feel about the first book? Read on to find out!

How does it feel to get over Andrea?

It really wasn’t easy, especially in a situation like that. Actually, it’s harder.

Are you and Andrea still friends?

We’re still friends, really, but in this case I had to do something to make it work in the same way that we can’t be like what we were before.

How are things with Cat?

Andrea and I were two different people looking for something in common. I find that Cat and I are on the same wavelength, which I actually like.

What did Cat feel about your first book?

I think she was a little jealous.

Did she expect that you'd write about her, too?

I guess not.

How did she react to that one?

She took it pretty cool.

What have you learned from your breakup with Andrea?

We really don’t have any idea what life is about. The only thing we can do is to make the best of it.
