summer_reading_inside.jpgMarch is about to come to a close and with that comes the official start of the summer season. As early as now, your thoughts may be turning to bikinis, white sand beaches, sunscreen, and maybe the possibility of a sizzling summer romance. And why shouldn’t it? After all, summer is the perfect time to get some R and R.

But in the middle of all the packing and planning for all kinds of parties, summer is also the time to take advantage of some me-time. It’s not too farfetched to imagine that you might pack a new book in your suitcase along with your bathing suit and sunglasses. What kind of stories will make for perfect summer reading? The lastest chick-lit bestseller? A travel book to help you plan your next vacation? Or will you be bringing along that novel that you just never seem to finish?

Patrick Rothfuss's Kingkiller Chronicles (books 1 and 2) and maybe MaryJanice Davidson's "Me, Myself, and Why" because it sounds fun. After that, I don't know. :)
