What super team should you join?

If you were a superhero, would you join the Avengers, the Green Lantern Corps, the X-Men, or the Justice League? Take the quiz to find out! By Jason Dayrit

As a kid, did you ever dream of joining the Justice League or the X-Men? Movies like X-Men, Green Lantern and the recent blockbuster The Avengers show us what it would be like to be in a team of powerhouses. These movies also show us how different personalities work together for a common goal—and how the mix of people can be potentially troublesome as well. Working together requires adjusting to each other, and sometimes, not everyone is cut out to be part of a certain team. After all, each team, league, or corps has its own dynamics!

So what super team would you fit right into? Take our quiz to find out!

1 .) First things first: what’s your main super power?
  1. My wits, agility, and gadgetry see me through even without super powers.
  2. I use the power of my mind to see into others' minds and even influence their thoughts.
  3. Flight—I get to travel fast and light and assess most situations before I join them.
  4. I can use my willpower to manipulate things and situations around me.
2 .) What kind of costume would you wear?
  1. Something colorful and unique so I take attention away from innocent civilians.
  2. A uniform that shows that I stand for something bigger than myself.
  3. No costume! I don't want to look weird, and I want to be able to blend in when needed!
  4. A functional costume with gadgets that is constantly getting upgrades.
3 .) Why and how would you join a super team?
  1. I would be tapped by an organization that appeals to my better nature, though it may take some adjustment.
  2. My inner strength, protective instincts, and courageous nature help me fulfill my responsibilities.
  3. I want to help people, so I'd volunteer to join forces with other heroes if it means defeating evil.
  4. I may be different from most people, but my teammates would understand and accept me for who I am.
4 .) Who should lead the team?
  1. The most charismatic one.
  2. The one with the best tactical mind.
  3. The one who has earned the most respect.
  4. The one with the most experience.
5 .) What holds your team together?
  1. A shared belief in truth and justice and the knowledge that we can achieve more as a team than as individuals.
  2. The knowledge that we're all that stands between the world and utter destruction, even if we go our separate ways in our off time.
  3. The qualities we share, like strong willpower and a sense of what is right, help us bond and recognize each other even over great distances.
  4. Although we have all had our own struggles in life, we have found in each other mutual acceptance and encouragement.
6 .) What's your team's biggest challenge?
  1. We too often bring our personal baggage into the mix, and this can make us defensive or suspicious of each other.
  2. We are all such different personalities, and strong ones at that, so arguments are inevitable.
  3. Because we are all so similar and so used to working together, it's sometimes hard to think out of the box.
  4. We always have to make sure the right checks and balances are in place to keep everyone honest.
7 .) What do you contribute to your team?
  1. A unique skill that fills a void in the team and a fierce determination to make my mark.
  2. Awesome skills that any team would be foolish to turn away
  3. A willingness to do what's needed to fight big challenges as well as small
  4. An innovative and open mindset and a willingness to voice my opinions
8 .) What does the team do in their off hours?
  1. We go on our separate ways. If there's a problem, we get called—they have our numbers.
  2. We're good friends as well as coworkers, so we hang out as well as lead our own lives.
  3. Spend our time at home with our loved ones; after all, they're the inspiration that keeps us going.
  4. Everyone has their own thing, but we like to stay together, for the most part.
9 .) Every superhero has a civilian identity. What's yours like?
  1. I'm a secret government agent, so no civilian identity for me!
  2. I'm an artist! I love expressing my unique views through my work!
  3. I work in an office and am currently gunning for yet another promotion!
  4. I'm a regular working girl who practices work-life balance—or tries to!
10 .) Do you think your team will get along well with other super teams?
  1. Of course! We're all in this for the good of mankind, after all.
  2. Sure, when we are ordered to work with them by our commander.
  3. Not really. We tend to look out for our own.
  4. Sure, but only after a fight, as is customary. Heh.
