Teen Opera Singer Surprises Judges on Britain's Got Talent

talent-inarticleWhen 17-year-old contestant Jonathan Antoine walked in with 16-year-old Charlotte Jaconelli to audition for Britain's Got Talent, Simon Cowell made a side comment to his fellow judges: "Just when you think things couldn't get any worse." In the introductory clip, Jonathan admitted that he had always had issues with his weight. Charlotte defended him, saying that it's wrong to judge a book by its cover. And Jonathan proved why the cliche still rings true. He and Charlotte sang a rendition of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli’s "The Prayer."
