Eastwood Mall opened with great aplomb this year, revealing a treasure trove of high-end boutiques, luxury cinemas, and a breathtaking courtyard fountain. With all its attractive offerings, Eastwood Mall is a veritable playground for the sophisticated urbanite.

Yet another good reason to visit the place is its mouthwatering mix of cuisine. The concept restos created by Manila’s most prolific restaurateurs and chefs do not only feature innovative dishes, they also score high on ambiance. Find out what FemaleNetwork suggests you sink your teeth into on your next visit to the East’s latest gastronomic haven.

Old Vine

If you’re craving continental comfort food with an ambiance to boot, Old Vine is a good place to start. The restaurant is run by the same folks who brought you Chef’s Quarter in Robinsons Place Manila and SM Megamall Atrium. With its quaint running vine motif, selection of vintage wines, and warm-colored interiors, Old Vine has the feel of a European vineyard in summer.

Start off your delectable meal with the Trio Salad, which is a combination of organic lettuce, sautéed prawns, tender shiitake mushrooms, and escargots, drizzled with balsamic variation dressing that will make you chomp on those snails with gusto. For a serving size good enough for two, you need to shell out P230; for a bigger serving, it would cost you P500.

For your entrée, try their Pork Lamb Spareribs (P395) in cilantro-curry sauce, served with a delectable vegetable and mushroom risotto that is a winner on its own.

We recommend finishing your meal with Chocolate Gooey Fudge (P120), a rich and moist treat sure to please your sweet tooth.

In keeping with its winery theme, Old Vine boasts of a collection of wines from Australia, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Italy, France, Spain, California, and New Zealand. Order one to complete your sumptuous dining experience.

Old Vine is located at the ground floor of Eastwood Mall’s Veranda.

Love Crisostomo! Enjoyed their Lamb Adobo very much—just thought the serving was too little. /:
