Are you a member of the NBSB (no-boyfriend-since-birth) club, too? That's no excuse to wallow in self-pity when February comes around, simply because there's no point in doing so. That being said, how did you spend your Valentine's Day? We hope you made it a point to still have a blast with your single friends.

For instance, believing that we singles needed a treat as much as lovers did, my friends and I trooped to the event "Love Is In The Air," The Body Shop's official launch party for the Moroccan Rose fragrance range and Rose Flower Limited Edition makeup collection.
Having bought my Moroccan Rose Eau De Toilette two weeks earlier, I was simply excited to share The Body Shop's new fragrance with my friends, who learned to love the scent as well. Because of The Body Shop's cool offers for the day and the mere lure of a free Lip & Cheek Tint, we ended up signing for Love Your Body membership cards which cost only P300. We even got free makeovers, courtesy of The Body Shop's team of makeup artists.
Giddy from our new, rose-inspired look, we went on to get an ice cream fix from Dairy Queen, to bring on the Valentine high. In the spirit of the season, we got Espresso Brownie Blizzard and Strawberry Brownie Blizzard (price starts at P79), two new treats made especially for Valentine's Day. This mix of full-flavored coffee syrup and premium brownie pieces in DQ's classic vanilla soft-serve ice cream was simply satisfying. And they weren't kidding when they said it's a great fix for chocolate and coffee lovers at the same time. We loved the generous helping of soft and moist brownie pieces!
If you're a health buff, you can still get a DQ fix by trying the new Strawberry White Tea Smoothie (P99 for 16oz). Enjoy real strawberry bits as you get a dose of antioxidants from the white tea. This is perfect for people who don't want their drinks too sweet.
Never too full for more ice cream, we decided to buy DQ's adorable Dilly Bar Hearts (P35), which looked really cute for our Valentine's photo-op. This heart-shaped, chocolate-coated vanilla treat tasted as good as it looks!
We hope you had as much fun as we had last Valentine's Day, proving that the day isn't just for lovers. And you now have ideas for what you should do next year—if you’re still single then, which really isn't so bad.
