Star Wars chic - but what is it?

If you're familar with the Star Wars franchise, you'll know that the Death Star is a weapon that can destroy planets—and it looks suspiciously like this photo.

But this is an actual sketch by Korean firm Heerim Architects. So, what is it? A state-of-the-art port? Ultra modern solar panels for a doughnut factory? A weapon of mass destruction (not to mention distraction!)? What's your guess?

According the Skyscrapernews.com, this is what the Hotel Full Moon will look like. Facing the Caspian Sea in the Azerbaijan capital of Baku in central Asia, it will have 104,182 square meters of space spread over 35 storeys. But, get this, it will only house 382 rooms, which is not a lot considering the floor area. Hope it doesn't roll towards the sea after a decade or so!
