Site-seeing: Wishlist.com

Nov 19, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

Looking for another way to let people know what you want for Christmas or your birthday? Apart from posting a list on your blog or throwing hints in your status messages, you can try WishList.com, a website where you can post specific items that you like from other websites and keep tabs on whether someone already got it for you or not.

You can make any type of list you like and make as many as you want, and then e-mail your friends and family about it. Friends and family can locate your list simply by typing your name on the search fields provided in the site. Once they see it, they can tick off items they've already bought for you.

It’s a lot like a gift registry; and the fun thing is, you don't really need an occasion to make wish lists.

So why not go and indulge yourself? This sure beats making subtle hints, after all - and you're definitely doing your loved ones a favor, letting them know exactly what you like.
