Site-seeing: get a kick out of passive-aggressive notes

Jan 23, 2009 by FN's Shar Bareng

Do you always notice unintentionally funny signs such as "Wanted: Sewers" at the front door of a tailor shop? Do handwritten threats by members of the family on an item in the refrigerator crack you up? Admit it: you love to poke fun at public signs that don’t get the message across—or worse, get the wrong message across.

If you enjoy reading "painfully polite and hilariously hostile" notes, check out passiveaggressivenotes.com, a blog that chronicles signs of all kinds: from huge warning signs on the road to furious memos written in bold letters, with occasional "unnecessary" quotation marks.

Got your own crop of passive-aggressive notes? Why not share it for laughs, too?
