You don't always need a fancy camera or training in photography to take great pictures; find out how you can take pro-level photos. By Joy Jesena-Barcelon

Most of us have cameras. Whether it's a point-and-shoot, digital single lens reflex (DSLR), cellphone, or tablet, we've often used this gadget to capture a beautiful image, only to be disappointed with the results. We often delete right away without even analyzing how we can improve the quality of the photos we take.

The slide show below contains tips on taking better photos or making them better by using photo editing software. And don't think you need a sophisticated program--even the most basic and user-friendly editing software is quite capable of letting you come up with more professional-looking images.
