Party this Halloween a la Cream

Oct 23, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

cream_poster.jpgAll dressed up for Halloween and nowhere to go? Then head to World Trade Center when club imprint Cream teams up with Bigfish in bringing trance trio Above & Beyond for the annual Cream Halloween Ball on October 30.

The trance trio of Jonathan "Jono" Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki formed in 2000 by Jono, Above & Beyond is popular for its uplifting trance productions and collaborations with numerous vocalists. Their single, "No One on Earth," features Faithless member Zoe Johnston, and was the first track ever to be hailed Tune of the Week for two consecutive weeks in Armin van Buuren's trance radio show, "A State of Trance." It also won Tune of the Year for 2004 in the same show.

Their album "Tri-State" was given a five-star rating at the UK Dance magazine DJ Mag. Steadily holding on to number six in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, they are admired by other trance greats like Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten. At the 2008 International Dance Music Awards, they won Best Underground Dance Track for "Home," and were nominated for Best Global DJ, Best Producer, Best Dance Artist (Group), and Best Full Length DJ Mix CD.

You'll get your chance to experience their great brand of trance when you attend the Cream Halloween Ball. Make your costume the most original and eye-catching, as Bigfish will award those wearing the best Halloween garb with a Nokia phone!
