"Somebody That I Used to Know" on Glee and AI This Week: Who Sang It Better?

Phil Phillips and Elise Testone sang the Gotye song on American Idol, while Darren Criss and guest star Matt Bomer sang it on Glee.

Gotye's "Somebody that I Used to Know" was a popular song this week with two TV shows covering it on FOX.

Darren Criss and Matt Bomer sang a rendition of it on the April 10 episode of Emmy Award-winning show Glee. Matt plays the older brother of Blaine, Darren's character.

 

Meanwhile, American Idol contestants Phil Philipps and Elise Testone performed a duet of the same song on AI's episode on April 12. The two singers got positive comments from the show's judges.
