UPDATE: Mio Fights Cancer: The Benefit Concert has been moved to October 9 to make way for the relief efforts for victims of Typhoon Ondoy.

It’s being talked about in the blogosphere and shared on Facebook, and now Mio Mendiola’s fight takes center stage. Mio Fights Cancer: The Benefit Concert will be held on September 30, 2009, 8:00PM [UPDATE: The concert has been moved to October 9], at the Music Museum. The concert will raise funds for the treatment of five-year-old Mio Mendiola’s Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia or ALL.

Denise Laurel and Maja Salvador lead a stellar list of artists including Jed Madela, Jay-R, Karylle, Dingdong Dantes, Maxene and Saab Magalona, Kjwan, Pupil, Imago, Session Road, The Pin Up Girls, and The Philippine Allstars. Tickets are priced at P300, P500, and P700 and are available through Ticket World and at the Music Museum; you can also email miofightscancer@gmail.com for reservations.
