Kids Make Predictions about the Internet in 1995

These kids' prophecies about the World Wide Web are now realities we enjoy every day.

These days, a lot of us cannot imagine life without the Internet. From a technological tool developed mainly for scientific and military purposes, it has evolved into a dynamic, multi-functional program which can be utilized for almost anything under the sun, from games, self-expression, data storage, to e-commerce. But just around a decade ago, it was hard to imagine using the Net for these purposes. Still, people back then weren’t afraid to dream up alternative ways to use the Internet, like what this group of fifth grade American students did in 1995. Amazingly, we are now using the Internet for the exact same things they predicted 17 years ago! Watch their video below.
