April 25 marked the Instituto Cervantes Open House, where guests got to purchase books on sale, visit their library, witness the European Poetry Recital, and attend Spanish language demonstration classes. Even children got to take part in the celebration, with storytelling and children’s film screening sessions.
And as for that tradition of exchanging roses for books? Instituto Cervantes gave a rose for each purchase made at the book sale.
If you want to enrich your appreciation of Spanish culture, watch for more events hosted by Instituto Cervantes.
