Like Gerlie Rivera, 26, a copy editor, who candidly shares, “Apart from watching movies or window shopping, my friends and I never miss going to the UP Fair during the love month—to either celebrate or mourn my single blessedness (whichever mood I’m in when that period comes).” Gerlie has won a fun Taco Bell feast and movie with three friends at the Globe Platinum Cinema in Gateway.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Joyce Ann Solario fondly recalls, “My friends and I met when we became blockmates in our freshman year of Interior Design in University of the Philippines. We can’t hang out very often these days, but when we do, we usually go to UP and visit places we never got to explore together when we were studying there. The best part is how everything there is priced for students. We enjoyed getting drinks from the high tech vendo machine that serves 12 kinds of drinks, both hot and cold, for only P12 each. We also stopped by fishball kiosks. It was like reliving our college days. We only spent P100 each for food and another P100 for the transportation.” Joyce won for herself and three friends a Taco Bell feast and movie treat at Trinoma.
