A book series is defined as a sequence of books that have certain characteristics in common, like a setting, story arc, or cast of characters. Some books in a series can be read in any order as there are minimal references to past events, while others should be read in chronological order to be better understood.

Much like a hit television series, a good book series should have entertaining characters and a gripping plot development to keep you coming back for more.

    I love Hunger Games. Can't wait for the last installment (Mockingjay) which is about to hit the bookstore this August 23/24.

    I love the Twilight Saga and Hunger Games Trilogy. Aug 24 is just around the corner for Mockingjay.



    Also another series that are a must read are: Sookie Stackhouse series, Vampire Academy, Blackdagger Brotherhood series, House of Night series, Night Huntress series and Chicagoland Vampires.

    got harry potter, twilight saga and shopaholic series (waiting for mini-shopaholic. will buy percy jackson soon and hopefully meg cabot's boy series...



    im not so much of a vampire fan...

    i've read HP, twilight, confessions of a shop a holic, chronicles of narnia, the golden compass, and the boy next door. im excited to read the hunger game, i hope vampire diaries is included here.

    i have read, followed and is following 11 out of your 20 must-follow book series. not bad. my added recommendation for must-follow book series: vampire academy by richelle mead (if you haven't gotten over the twilight series and is craving for more vampire teens), southern vampire mysteries novels aka sookie stackhouse series (if you want an adult version of the twilight series), inheritance cycle by christopher paolini (if you love dragons and want to learn about dragon riders), inkheart trilogy by cornelia funke (i love books), the pendragon adventure by d j machale (currently reading, i'm in book 3 and so far i've enjoyed his travels to denduron and cloral, bobby pendragon is a traveler out to save halla from saint dane).
