Awesome August Festivals

Learn about some of the celebrations that will be taking place across the nation this August. By TravelBook Staff
The rainy season may have set in, but that doesn't stop Filipinos from celebrating our colorful culture. August is known as Buwan ng Wika in many elementary and high schools around the country. It is also when we celebrate National Heroes Day. Aside from these, a number of festivals are held around the country during this rainy month. Check out the towns that party in August, despite the possibility of it literally raining on their parade.
