Who says girls don't know anything about cars and racing? Members of Girl Racers Club (GRC) definitely know their automobiles and need for speed--and show the country what women can do in the male-dominated world of motor sports. And they're inviting you to share their enthusiasm for cars in this one-of-a-kind party!After a successful run of car shows in the past two years, the first all-female car enthusiast club in the Philippines, Girl Racers Club, brings back Grand Metro Auto Fest on Sept 27, 2008 at Silver City Auto Mall in Ortigas, Pasig. More than just a car show, the event is said to be a must-attend for partyphiles, as it features live bands and DJs.
The highlight, of course, remains a showcase of the hottest girl-owned cars in the metro. So if you're not yet a car enthusiast, this event might turn you into one. Here are some of the awards they'll be giving away:
