While Rock Band allows most of us to play out our rock star fantasies with its four-man setup, the dream isn't quite complete until we experience being the Beatles. Don't look now, but our wish is about to come true: MTV Games announced that it has sealed a deal with the Liverpool band's Apple Corps. Ltd. and Harmonix, the company that develops the game, to introduce a Beatles-centered version of the video game soon! Rock Band currently features as many as 40 bands, but the Beatles project will only use songs from the band's songbook, under the supervision of Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer Sir George Martin.
Beatles fans, be sure to save up for it quick, as Harmonix has made this game its top priority for 2009.
As soon as it was announced, Beatles fans all over the world went into a frenzy trying to guess how the game will look and which songs will be included in the playlist.
