Remember how, when you were just young girls, you and your best friend exchanged tokens like friendship bracelets to symbolize your bond? Remember how both of you wear these identical bracelets, never mind if it clashes with your outfit?
While you may consider yourself too old to exchange such tokens with your best friend at this point, you can pass this sweet practice to your younger sister or niece. It might also interest them to know that Candy, the number one teen magazine in the country, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by giving away free BFF Charm bracelets, their version of the ubiquitous symbol of friendship.
“For our tenth anniversary, we wanted to give readers something timeless and memorable. It’s also very exciting for our readers to have a special Candy bracelet that they won’t be able to get anywhere else,” Summit Media associate publisher for teens’ titles Denise Congco says.
The BFF Charm bracelet comes with every copy of Candy’s March issue, and it already has one charm, a fuchsia letter “C” for Candy. The next three charms will be available in the April, May, and June issues. Once completed, Candy encourages young girls to present this sweet accessory to their best buds as a token of friendship. To make the gift even more special, they can jazz up the bracelet by adding more charms, available in The Bead Shop.
Be charmed by Candy on its 10th birthday
