Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" Played Using a Traditional Chinese Zither

What would Adele's song "Rolling in the Deep" sound like if a traditional Chinese instrument is used to play its melody?

adele-chinese-instrumentIt seems like everyone is covering Adele's songs these days, but sometimes there are still some renditions that stand out from the musical deluge. Possibly leading the pack is this Chinese instrumental cover of the singer's hit "Rolling in the Deep." In the video below, a traditional Chinese zither, called a guzheng, is used to play Adele's song. You'll feel like this modern composition was transformed into a soundtrack of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Watch this east-meets-west and modern-meets-traditional rendition in the video below.
