Early this week in San Francisco, Apple has introduced the thinnest iPod ever: the fourth generation iPod Nano.

The latest in the Nano line boasts of a color display that supports the Cover Flow interface as well as video playback. Another cool feature is how it automatically goes into shuffle mode when the player itself is lightly shaken. The iPod Nano comes in 8GB and 16GB models (for US$149 and US$199, respectively), and nine colors: silver, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, red, and black.

Check out more photos and technical specifications in our iPod Nano gallery.
