Wear purple with pride

Jul 5, 2009 by FN's Shar Bareng

If you're a Yahoo! mainstay, you may have already heard of Project Purple, a social movement that encourages Filipinos to be more creative, unique, and innovative in pursuing their passions.

Aside from participating in Purple Project activities such as the online Purple Hunt and Purple Hunt Mall Tours, you can join the social movement and spread word by wearing limited edition T-shirts designed by Team Manila.

One hilarious shirt features the character Sisa, from Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere, looking for her sons Crispin and Basilio through Yahoo! Messenger. Another shirt, meanwhile, bears a cool graphic design of common online terms used by Pinoys.

These funky purple shirts (P550 each) are available in men's and women's sizes at Team Manila's retail stores in Jupiter Street, Power Plant Mall, and Mall of Asia.
