Site-seeing: I Can Has Cheezburger

If Cute Overload is for “awwws,” then I Can Has Cheezburger is a heady combination of “awwws” with a dose of LOLs.

Both cute and funny, the site features lolcats—pictures of cats with peculiar captions in broken English. The actual technical, non-fun term for lolcat is actually “image macro.” The site isn’t limited to cats, though. It also has “talking” rabbits, dogs, hamsters, and even walruses, among others.

Established only in January 2007 by Eric Nakagawa, an out-of-work computer programmer based in Hawaii, Time already considers I Can Has Cheezburger as “the definitive lolcats archive.” Don't quite get the whole lolcat picture (pun unintended)? Here's a sample:
