Samsung and Armani team up for fashion phone

Sep 26, 2008 by FN's Chrissy Icamina

armani-samsung-blue_1.jpgJust this weekend, the M75500 mobile phone was unveiled at an event in Milan, Italy. The candybar is a collaboration of Samsung and Emporio Armani, and is called "Night Effect."

This is the first Night Effect unit with the Emporio Armani label, and this so-called "effect" turns the mobile phone into a party phone of sorts, shifting its color lights at the label and side trim as it's being used.

It also boasts of a 2.2-inch display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, 120MB of internal memory, a memory card slot, and 3G.

For a handset branded with a designer label, though, it doesn't really look so fashionable. What do you think? Check out more photos after the jump.
