Even privacy settings can't deter the sneakiest of online stalkers.

A Canadian computer technician named Byron Ng has discovered a security lapse in Yahoo's integration with MySpace. How?

Actually it only involves keying in URLs. Specific instructions can be found here, but overall, it entails adding any MySpace profile through Yahoo's web service. That simple.

So, what's the moral of the story? Big ticket web sites should not take any chances with their security features—in the same way that one must be wary of the things one posts online. Always assume that anything and everything you upload on the web has the possibility of being exposed to the public!
