Maria Sharapova designs cellphone accessories

Aug 27, 2008 by FN's Chrissy Icamina

sharapova.jpgTennis superstar Maria Sharapova is one hot commodity. Only someone with this much star power can have such commanding presence in and out the tennis court all over the globe. Sony Ericsson knows this, thus making her their first global brand ambassador.

The deal has since given birth to the Maria Sharapova Design Collection, a line of mobile phone cases for the stylish tech savvy woman. Without sacrificing form for function, the collection consists of four designs suited for different kinds of activities, such as exercising, playing sports, traveling, and of course, partying.

The Maria Sharapova Design Collection will be available by the fourth quarter of the year. Check out the accessories—which are as pretty as their endorser—after the jump!
